My name is Savannah, and I have had the animal loving "bug" since I was born. I grew up in a rural town in Mid-Missouri, and was lucky enough to raise chickens, goats, own a couple horses, and of course... have dogs!
A family member of mine is a Veterinarian. I fell in love with Vet Med and spent years and years in the clinic helping, starting at the young age of five. Luckily, this has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. I am that person friends and family message all the time asking about animal health related questions! I am very experienced with shots, sub-q fluids, pills, wound care, and spotting emergency symptoms.
Savvy Pet Services KC was founded due to issues I was having as a very worried pet parent myself when I needed to go out of town! I felt I couldn't find someone who made me feel 100% confident or that I could trust to be reliable. We feel you. We know how hard it is.. and we are here to help!!

Our Insured Services
Welcome to the "fun" house! Our guests are immersed into our home routines, and truly become a family member during their stay. Our home boasts a large fenced in backyard. Guests are allowed on furniture here! If your kiddo likes having friends we will find a suitable playmate for them! During quiet time and feeding time, our guests are housed in their private 4'x4'x6' commercial grade dog pens.. which are so much roomier than crates! Guest are also monitored by camera during quiet time. Come on over and let the fun begin!!
Boarding
House Sitting
How about we bring the fun to you!?! This option is perfect for animals with anxiety, that are fearful, dog reactive, or just do better in their own environment! House sitting also is great for clients that have reptiles, fish, chickens, goats, cats, you name it and we can take care of them! Taking care of trash, mail, packages, all of this is also included in this service. House sitting includes Dan or I spending the night and morning with your kiddos, as well 2-3 drop in visits during the day that range from 15 mins to several hours each included in our all inclusive pricing. We spend the night with your kiddos unless requested not to. We can customize this service to best meet your needs!
Drop-In Visits
Long day at work? Want to go to a concert? All of these (and more!) are perfect reasons for a drop-in visit in your home! Just as it sounds, you tell me when you need me and I will.. drop in!!! Drop-in visits range from 15/30/60 min increments and all of them include a potty break, water refill, feeding time (if needed), and playtime! You let me know how you want me to spend that time and I will get it done, (play ball the whole time, cuddles on the couch, watch tv with your furkids etc. whatever is your pets favorite thing to do!) The skies the limit on how we can customize this service.

Walks
Did someone say Walkies?? We know this is your dogs favorite word! Lets get some energy out and take a walk around the neighborhood! This is also a great service for those long days.. or those days you want to chill on the couch and need to get rid of some of that energy!

Daycare
With five personal dogs.. we pretty much are a dog park (only much more safe). We offer daycare (or evening care) as an alternative to those that don't need boarding, but need more than a drop-in or walk!
Meet Your Pets New Bestfriends
Gotti
We fostered Gotti's mom, Dolce, which surprised us with a litter of 9 purebred Standard Poodles! We fostered them until they were all 10 weeks old, and of course....we had to keep one! Gotti is our go-to when we are looking for a potential playmate for our boarders. He is 2 years old, high energy, high play drive, but he can alter his play styles for shy dogs. He is the one that can make any shy/scared dog play! He loves all dogs but really likes playing with other Poodles and Doodles!
Armani
Armani is the big man around the house! He encompasses the true Great Dane nature and thinks he's about 5 pounds. He is the ultimate momma's boy and can be found on the couch being big spoon. Some dogs can peak his interest enough to get him to play chase for a good 30 seconds but that is quickly followed by a 4 hour nap to recharge. You will often hear Armani well before you see him!
Chanel
Chanel was my first-born furkid! She has been with me from the beginning and has seen 100s of fosters, boarders and everything in-between! She still enjoys playing but follows in the footsteps of Armani.. She needs a good 3 hour nap after! She is very calm natured and gets along with a wide variety of dogs!
Allie
We adopted Allie from a breeder surrender transport. She has a severe form of doggy OCD and debilitating Anxiety but she is constantly improving! She is extremely submissive and doesn't really crave other dogs attention so she is perfect for dogs that want company outside but not necessarily to play.. She also does good with dogs that are very dominant and assertive. She is level 1 or entry level of our packs dynamic and the dog we introduce to new boarders first!
Norman
Norman is the newest addition! A local rescue we foster for got in two breeder surrenders. Norman and his brother were the last remaining puppies from a litter and the seller couldn't find homes. I had been talking about my dream of owning a black small standard poodle for the last 2 years. We went to the rescue not knowing anything about the surrenders only the age and gender.. And I told Dan ( My boyfriend) If they bring out a black small standard its game over... and it was indeed game over!
